Customers simply tap their credit or debit card, or use Apple Pay, to unlock a portable charger. A temporary hold is placed on their card, and they’re only charged for the time they actually use the device. No apps, no sign-ups—just reliable, portable power when they need it.

Who operates and staffs the kiosk?
The kiosk is personally operated and managed by the kiosk operator during this pilot phase. All aspects of of setup, daily operations, restocking, customer interaction, and maintenance are handled. This allows for high quality control and responsiveness while the concept is being tested at a small scale.
How much space does the kiosk require?
The kiosk occupies only a couple of square feet and has a very small footprint. It is designed to integrate seamlessly into existing spaces without obstructing foot traffic or requiring layout changes.
What are the power requirements?
The kiosk requires access to a standard wall outlet. No special electrical setup is needed.
Does the kiosk create noise, mess, or disruption?
No. The kiosk is completely silent, produces no waste, and requires no on-site cleanup. It is designed to be unobtrusive and low-maintenance for the host location.
What are the operating hours?
Operating hours are flexible and can be aligned with the host location’s hours and peak traffic times. This can be adjusted as needed during the pilot period.
What is the purpose of the pilot placement?
The goal of the pilot is to enhance the customer experience within the space by offering an engaging, convenient interaction that encourages people to linger, return, and spend more time in the area.
In addition, the kiosk includes a large front-facing screen that can display custom content or advertisements, offering opportunities for host messaging, promotions, or branding visibility.
Is there any cost or revenue-sharing involved?
During this initial phase, revenue is retained by the kiosk operator. The partnership benefit to the host location is focused on customer experience, engagement, and foot traffic retention rather than direct financial return. However, this structure may evolve in future phases once performance data is available.
